The Hen with Chicks is a new kit for 2025 and is made entirely from wool and glass glue-in eyes. You get a little help shaping the hen by using a ready made wool ball which is part of the kit. The little yellow chicks are just adorable and you can make up to three. Suitable for beginners+ and children over 10 (or supervised crafty children 7+).

Techniques used: Making basic shapes from wool, joining them, adding features and surface colours and textures

This small kit contains:

• Digital Full colour, step-by-step instructions accessed via QR or opt for printed instructions (choose a different option to have paper instructions included)
  
• 6x different types of wool
• Glue-in Eyes
  
• 5cm Wool Ball
• Optional: Tools (choose the relevant option to be included): Felting needles (#38 Medium) , Eco Wool Felting Mat (made from recycled wool and 100% compostable)
  

You will also need: clear-drying PVA Glue and sharp little scissors
