Gloucester Old Spot pigs are one of the oldest pig breeds in the world and were the first to be officially registered. They’re famously calm, friendly, and good-natured, so much so that they’re often described as making wonderful family pigs. Their long association with orchards earned them the nickname “The Orchard Pig”, as they would happily clear up fallen fruit beneath apple trees. Folklore even suggests their distinctive black spots are bruises from falling apples – whether that’s true or not, it’s a lovely story that suits their gentle character perfectly.

The Kit includes all materials and printed instructions to make a Gloucester Old Spot Pig that stands around 9 cm tall  and measures 14–15 cm long . The legs are poseable, as they contain pipe cleaners, and yes – you have the option to either turn your pig into a flying pig, by opting for the Box with Metal Wings or into a pig enjoying a bath opting for the Box with Bubble Bath.
