The Story
South American Merino tops / roving comes in long fibred strands . The roving is particularly suitable to wrap around wire armature to cover thinly and evenly.
It is 27 micron and therefore not too fine to felt and so it felts easily. It creates a smoother surface than the wool batts, its lovely for needle felted butterflies, flowers and surface decoration.
Great for wet felting.
Sometimes a little woolly swap is needed, but don’t worry — we’ll always match it as close in colour and texture as possible! Â
